Animal Day.

Last Thursday, I took the whole family to Lanchang. It's school holiday and we didn't go anywhere. We went to Deerland.
Deerland is a private owned place where the owner keeps some deers. Here we can actually be surrounded by deers. Adults are charged RM5 while kids under age 6 is free.
I got the chance to feed the deers some potatoes provided by the owner. It's exhilirating. I've never experienced this before.
Ina, Hanim and Alyssa are excited too. They got the chance to pat some deers...
There are other animals at the park. Bears, peacocks, rabbits, squirrels, just to name a few...the girls are excited. Good experience for them.

Then, we went to the Elephant's Conservation Area in Kuala Gandah. The girls got the chance to watch some elephants there.
We were early, so we didn't get the chance to watch the elephants being bathed by the trainers...

After all that, we went to Bukit Tajau to pay my sister in law a visit. Went back home after Maghrib and reached home at around 9 pm.
A good day for the family I would say...

Balik Kampung.

Last Friday, we went to Kajang to send Mak to my sister's house. We got on our way after Friday prayers. We arrived in Kajang at around 9 pm.
Immediately my sister asked us out for dinner. Huhu 'langkah' kanan is what they say...
We went to this restaurant called Rimbun Klasik. Quite nice but personally I think the food is no match for the food in Kuantan. The tomyam in Kuantan tastes a lot better...

On Saturday evening, we went on our way to Kuala Lipis. We arrived in Kuala Lipis around 11 pm. The road is jammed with cars heading to the East Coast.
On Sunday morning, we went to Pekan Sehari in Padang Tengku. Ina bought some groceries to bring home. The vegetables are cheaper there than Kuantan.
In the afternoon, we went to a wedding ceremony. Ayah is the cook. The food is nice and I snapped a few pics there.

In the evening, we decided to go to Ayah's rubber orchard to see the cows that he have. Ayah have 15 cows to date, including two which is mine...
This is the first time Hanim and Alyssa went there. It's a new experience for them. It's amazing to see Ayah can get close and pat the cows. Ayah even fed them to show to his grandchildren..

After that, we went to Wan's house but she's not at home. So I just snapped a pic of Hanim there.

We went back to Kuantan on Monday afternoon...

Friday Shopping.

Last Friday, after sending Hanim to school, we went out for breakfast. We had nasi minyak in Semambu.
After that, Ina decided to go to Giant to buy groceries.
After shopping, Alyssa took the chance to play at the small playground inside Giant's area.
We went back just in time to pick Hanim from school.

New Bike For Hanim.

Since Hanim is able to ride her bike without the two small wheels, I decided to buy her a new bike.
We went to a shop in town and I asked her to choose her bike. Well, she chose her bike and, no surprise, she chose pink. It's her favourite color...
This is to celebrate her newly acquired skill...
