Hanim's 7th Birthday.

We celebrated Hanim's 7th birthday last month...Yes Sir, my girl is growing up fast...This means that she has entered and been a wonderful part of my life for the last seven years...Gosh, how time flies, rockets...

To celebrate her birthday, Ina decided to hold a small party for her...We always did...

We invited a few of her friends and neighbours to come...

~Posing for the camera before the party starts~

Hanim has selected a simple cake for her birthday this time...

~Birthday cake~

After everyone arrived, the party starts...Everyone gathered around to sing Happy Birthday for my little girl...

Hanim cuts her cake and distribute them for her friends...Parents chat and eats while the kids play...A nice small birthday party for my girl...

~Everyone wants a piece of the cake~

Later that night, as usual, we let Hanim open her presents with her sister, Alyssa...It's not about the presents, it's about my girls having fun with their friends and celebrating her birthday...

Ramadhan Post.

Gosh...it's been two months since I last posted...I guess I'm just being busy doing things...What with the World Cup, work and all...

It's the 5th of Ramadhan today...Meaning it's been 4 days that we've been fasting...AlhamdulilLah, all is well...Hanim has been fasting too...Without fail...A good girl she is...

Well, just to let you know, this shud've been posted two months back...But I just didn't or couldn't find the time...Well, here we go...

A friend of Ina's invited her and our neighbour for some durian eating session at her orchard...Yup, the person is kind hearted enough to invite her friends to come to her orchard to eat durians...If you don't know it by now, I have a family who loves durian so much that they can actually eat durians straight, non stop until all the durians bought are finished...I'm that much into durians so I told Ina to go ahead and accept the invitation...Just go with the girls, they'll love it...

So on that particular day which date I already forgot b'coz it happened two months ago, Ina and the girls went to the orchard with our neighbour and her two kids...Oh ya, Adik went along too...

The orchard is only a few minutes drive from home...Once there, Ina snapped a few pics of the durian trees...

~Short tree but full of durians...N.I.C.E~

~Can you see the durian?~

Other people has arrived when they got there...So, they went about doing their thing...Eating durians that is...Snapped some pics...

~Yummy~

~My neighbour's kids...Hazirah and Khidir~

~More and more durians~

Ina spent a couple hours there...Enjoying the durians, meeting new friends...

~Enjoying themselves~

~Alyssa with Khidir behind her~

They had a jolly good time eating durians with family and friends...Once everyone is full, they said goodbye their friends and went home...The girls just kept talking to me about their experience...I guess they really enjoyed the experience...

If you're happy girls, then I'm happy too...

Yesterday, took the girls out to the beach for kite flying lesson. I bought two kites for the girls.

It's 6 pm and the wind is strong. Perfect for them.

I handed the kite to Hanim and there you go...my girl's first attempt at kite flying went perfect. It's easy...

Gambang Water Park.

Last week on Monday June 14th, we went to the Gambang Water park. Took Ina's aunt and family, along with Ina's grandmother. They've never been to Gambang Water Park.

Everyone's excited to go. We head out to the water park at around 11 am. The weather was nice...cloudy. Perfect for the day's activity.

Arriving there at around 12 noon. There were lots of people around. It's the school holidays so it's expected. It took me about 30 mins queuing for tickets.

We went inside and then played our hearts out. Everyone had fun.

I took some pics but not much. Not about to spoil my camera huhuhu...

We stopped playing when the announcement came on the speakers telling the park will be closing in an hour's time. We were having so much fun that we didn't realize that it's getting late...

At 6 pm, we went out. Took some pics outside...memories...

Trip To Felda Tenggaroh 5 For 'Sambut Menantu' Ceremony.

Last weekend, we went to Felda Tenggaroh 5 in Mersing, Johor for the groom's 'Menyambut Menantu' ceremony...We went there with families and friends...

We started at around 9 am and reached there at around 1 pm...

We waited at a neighbour's house for the ceremony to start...In Johor, it's called 'Rumah Sanggar'...in Pahang it's called 'Rumah Singgah'...whatever laa...

~Chatting while waiting~

Then the 'kompang' group came and we all walked behind the bride and groom, making our way to the groom's house.

The couple is then seated on chairs placed on the lawn...The 'silat pengantin' starts...

A unique thing is it starts with a lady performing the 'silat'...followed by a male...

~Silat kak...silat...~

~Bunga silat pengantin~

~Salam sembah buat Raja Sehari~

Then we proceed with the 'bersanding'...Time for picture taking session...

~Happy couple~
