DIY Day.

I feel bored with nothing to do. Ina complained that I haven't put up the shelf and brackets we bought the other day for our daughter's room. So, okay I thought.

I took out the shelf and brackets. Took out my tool box and drill set...and I'm on my way...

Finally it's done. The girls are happy, Ina is happy and I can rest...

Mishap?...Accident?

What is an accident?
According to MS Dictionary an accident is defined as 'an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally'.

What is a mishap?
According to the same dictionary, a mishap is 'an unlucky accident'.

This is what happens to Ina in the space of two days...

The first one is she got the car scratched when she failed to judge correctly when taking a corner. She scraped against the road divider resulting in the skirting got scratched and dented.


Two days after that, Ina was on her way to pick Hanim up when a guy failed to stop his car in time and kissed our car from behind. Luckily there are only scratches. The bumper did not fall off or anything.
I checked and found no bracket broken or anything...
Hmmm...


I'm just glad that she still has the courage to drive....good wifey of mine...

Uninvited Guest.

We had an uninvited guest.
I saw this bird flying in out of the house compound. When I go out of the house, it will perch on our gate and watch me. I was wondering why..

Then Ina told me that a bird has made a nest in one of her trees.

No wonder the bird is around the house all the time.

I snapped some pics of the nest while she's nesting ( I assume it's the mother ). There's an egg inside the nest but I dare not take more pics as I worry that she will fly away and never to return, abandoning her nest and egg...

Quarantine.

My family is under quarantine this week.
Alyssa has chicken pox. She got it from Hanim I think.
Oh ya, Hanim has fully recovered from chicken pox. She started going to school today.
Hmmm...it will take two weeks for her to fully recover, like Hanim did.

At The Pool.

The next day, I took the girls to the pool.
There's a fitness club near Mok De's house and it has a pool. Hanim has always wanted to go there. She and Alyssa loves playing in water. Her cousins told her how nice the pool is, so she wanted to play too.

We went there at around 10 in the morning. The weather is nice. Hanim, Alyssa and their cousins immediately jumped into the pool.
They had a good time playing...splashing water around...
Ina and I sat at the side keeping watch.

We got on our way to Kuantan around noon.

Belated Post - Alyssa's Birthday.

The date is April 11th, 2009. It's Alyssa's birthday.
I know...I know. It's been a month but like I said, I've been busy.

We went to Kajang to pick Mak up. She called me saying that she wants to spend a few days in Kuantan. So, we went to Kajang and coincidentally, it's Alyssa's birthday.

Upon arrival, Mok De told us that she wants to treat us pizza since it's Alyssa's birthday. So we went to Pizza Hut at Tesco Kajang.
We had a good time having pizza. Then, since we're already at Tesco, Ina took the ooportunity to do some shopping. As always...

I entertained the girls playing while their mother did some shopping.

That night, we had a simple birthday party for Alyssa. Mok De sponsored the cake. Alyssa chose a chocolate cake with cherry toppings.
We sang Happy Birthday for Alyssa, then she blew the candles. It's a simple party but I can see Alyssa's face glowing with delight.

Mok De also bought her a present which I forgot to snap the pic.
Simple but meaningful day for my beloved daughter...

Busy...Don't Know What....

It's been a while since I last updated this blog. The reason is I'm busy, but I don't know what I'm busy with.
Well I'm updating now and hopefully I'll have the time to update often.
Let's start with this one.
I tiik the girls to Megamall to do some shopping.
Then we had KFC for dinner. The girls asked for a ride. They always do.
I duely obliged...a ride they get...mechanical ride...
