Hanim's Birthday - July 17th, 2009.

Yesterday is Hanim's 6th birthday. Yup, my eldest daughter is six now. How time flies eh...

Ina decided to hold a small birthday party for her. Neighbours and a few of Hanim's schoolmates are also invited.

It's a small party. The idea is not only to celebrate my daughter's birthday but also to gather around with friends.

Ina made 'laksam', pulut durian and meehoon. She also baked a cake and a few varieties of kuih for the guests.
I ordered a cake from a local bakery for Hanim. As usual, it has a pic of 'Princesses' on it. You know how girls are...

The party started at 5 pm. Some of the guests turned up with presents for Hanim. Ina was very busy attending to the guests...all of them are her friends. Some of Hanim's schoolmates turned up with presents and she played happily with them. Alyssa joined in too.

After the party, it's time for Hanim to open up her presents.

It's been a fun day for me and family. Ina is satisfied to get to hang around with her friends. Hanim and Alyssa is happy to get the chance to play with their friends and getting a lot of presents too...
In the end, we are all happy...

An Evening At The Playground.

It's been some time since I last took the girls to the playground. I've been busy...

So, last Tuesday, since we had nothing to do, Ina suggested that we took the kids out. I suggested De Rhu Beach Resort.
The resort has a nice big pool to swim in and a nice playground for the kids to play.

So, we packed our swimming suit and some food then headed straight for the resort.

The girls had fun in the pool. I took a dip too.

Then, after changing clothes, the girls head for the playground.

I forgot to snap some pics while the girls are having fun in the pool...they're having so much fun...

We had fun that evening...hoping for more moments like this with my beloved family...InsyaAllah...

BBQ Night.

I haven't updated this page for a while now. Not much to tell anyway...life is kinda normal huhu...

Well here's an update. It's two weeks ago but I only have the chance to share it now.

Ina and her friends decided to hold a BBQ dinner with our neighbours. They collected some money from each of our neighbours and then set a date to do it. The idea is well accepted and everyone contributed.

That night, we had our BBQ dinner. The event started after Isya' prayers and lasted until 11 pm. Everyone enjoyed their dinner.
We had chicken, fish, squid, prawns and some other things for dinner.
Everyone said that this is a good idea since it's not very often that everyone in the neighbourhood can gather around and catching up on the latest happenings, news and bla bla bla...

They are looking forward to having similar event in the future...

Ina mentioned about having another BBQ dinner before Ramadhan. We'll see about that but I think the idea will be well accepted by our neighbours.
