Hanim's Graduation Concert.

We went early to the concert. Hanim needs to get prepared for her show. Hanim got involved in pantun reciting, a Hip Hop style dancing routine and a dancing show to the tune of the song Joget Lambak.
I took a few videos of her during the concert but it's too big to upload.

There's a lucky draw for everyone. We got a hamper. Ina went on stage to collect it. Lucky day for us....

~Hanim - Top 3 Student of her class~

The best part of the night is when Hanim went on stage to collect her certificate for being one of the Top 3 Students in her class of 5 year olds. So proud of her...and her teacher said that she will keep on improving...
Let's hope for a better future....

Preparation For Hanim's Concert.

Yesterday, Hanim started early in preparing for her concert. Hanim wore a blue baju kurung, a blue necklace and a head scarf. She's reciting pantun in the concert.
Ina put on some make up for her. The tudung is prepared by my neighbor. Hanim is all excited for the concert and for her being able to put on some make up. Girls are girls...putting on some make up and looking pretty is in the genes I guess...

Hari Raya At My Workplace.

~Food from kampung brought to work to be shared~

~Everyone enjoying the food~

~Look at all these food...~

I worked night shift on the 1st and 2nd Hari Raya. No...I'm not being sad. I do miss my family but I'm used to having to work on Hari Raya. After all, I'm not the only one, I have my colleagues around me. We brought some food from kampung and share it.
The company provided food for both the day and night shift workers. Great...we had satay, nasi minyak and some kuih.
Went thru those two days without any problem. I went back to Lipis on Saturday.

Hari Raya Eve - Making Lemang.

~Filling up the bamboo with pulut~

~Ayah looking at the lemang~

~Almost done~

I took off from Mok De's on Monday morning around 1030 hrs. Arrived in Kuala Lipis around 1530 hrs. I will spend one night here, then I'm off to Kuantan. Working night shift tomorrow.
The next morning (Tuesday) Ayah starts preparing for making lemang. Bamboos are cut and filled with pulut. The pulut is wrapped around banana leaves, to add some taste to it I guess.
This is the first time I helped Ayah making lemang. Never had the chance before this...

Break Fast With The Whole Family.

Pak Ngah (my eldest bro) invited the whole family to break fast at Hotel Singgahsana in PJ on Sunday. The girls are all excited to go. Well I guess everyone is. Eat for free what...
We were on our way at around 1730 hrs. Had to take into count the traffic jams in KL, you know how it is.
Arrived there at 1845 hrs. I followed Pak Ngah all the way there. I didn't know the way, never will maybe..
We break fast at 1905 hrs. There's this local nasyid group, Rabbani, performing live there. I think nobody really took notice, everyone is enjoying their meal.
We went our way after that. Went straight home to Mok De's.
Sending my family balik kampung tomorrow morning...

Balik Kampung Trip - First Stop Mok De's House.

~Cousins watching tv together~

Hari Raya is coming and Ramadhan is leaving. I'm sending my family to Kuala Lipis, but before that we went to Mok De's in Shah Alam.
We were on our way on Saturday night after I finished my day shift. Arrived there around midnight..
Took a few pics there. I took these pics on Sunday. The girls are happy to be around their cousins. As always, Hanim played with her Mok De's hamsters. Booked one to bring back to Kuantan.

Hanim's New Baju Kurung.

~Hanim demonstrating her practiced pose for her class concert~

~Hanim and Alyssa together~

~Alyssa wants to pose the same too~

I took the girls to the Ramadhan Bazaar near Kuantan Terminal the other day. Went shopping for Hanim's baju kurung and some other stuff. Her teacher asks her to wear blue baju kurung for her class concert this coming October.
Got what we looked for in the end. Told her to pose for camera and these are what I get. Alyssa also joined her sister. Such cuties...
