Not a lot of activities done, but we did have fun...
The very next day, I took the girls to a small river near my in laws' house. It's a small river but it's clean. There are fishes swimming around which the girls find interesting. They kept asking the names of fishes found there. I only know a few...sebarau, jelawat and lampam. The others...I'll answer later...
After that, we went back. Alyssa found this 'swing' hanging and she loves to just relaxing there....swinging back and forth. I just had to take a pic of her resting...
On Sunday, we went to attend a wedding ceremony in Berengkam. It's a remote village in Kuala Lipis. And when I say remote, I really mean remote. It took us about 40 mins to reach the small village, via a small winding road.
I didn't take any pic of the ceremony but I took some pics of the surroundings. What I find interesting is that the village connects with the nearby village via a hanging bridge. I took a few pics there.
One of the villager there found a 'siamang' and he raised it in captivity. The girls found it interesting. I guess they have never seen such creature.
On wednesday, Ina and I went to Bukit Betong's pekan sehari. It's a day market where the villagers come out and sell vegetables that they planted. A few sellers from outside also comes here to sell their stuff.
It's 8 am but the area is still covered in mist, something that I seldom experience in Kuantan...
We went back home to Kuantan on Wednesday.
It's New year...so a happy New Year to everyone...
